Contracts are becoming increasingly important for individuals in Japan as society becomes more global. You may require not only a Japanese language contract but an English one (for example, for employment or confidentiality agreements with foreign companies or for joint research or licensing agreement with a foreign university). Such draft agreements, however, are difficult to review and negotiate by yourself. Our lawyer Masaki Yoshino, who studied at Cambridge University and University of Chicago Law School and passed the NY State Bar Examination, has extensive experience and expertise reviewing, drafting and negotiating both English and Japanese contracts.
Yoshino also has extensive experience and expertise in dispute resolution in our main practice areas. We will carefully identify the best solution for each individual before going to court.
We provide a proposal and direction promptly at client request.
